Black Panther Wakanda Forever, which is going to expand upon the mythology of the Afrofuturist nation of Wakanda, we get another good look at the possible antagonist, Namor the Submariner (Tenoch Huerta). Namor is seen in all his glory with a spear in hand, clad in an amazing neckpiece and earpieces that are influenced by the culture and history of Mesoamerica. The Black Panther Trailer is given below the link.

Since the 1930s, Namor the Submariner has been a regular in comic books, and he currently serves as the king of Atlantis. In the comics, he is a mutant. However, we have not yet seen his origins in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because the production company has a propensity for never following precisely the stories from the books. In the comics, he is a member of the X-Men. In the next feature film, Huerta reveals that Namor is, in fact, a mutant. This scene also provides us with a little glimpse of his birth. “The contrast between T’Challa and Namor – their characters, and their nations – just leaps off the page,” said Director Ryan Coogler, who returned to directing after delivering 2019’s blockbuster hit Black Panther. Coogler was speaking of the comic book run of the character.

In the teaser that was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con, Namor was shown to be one of the two battles that Wakanda is facing following the death of its cherished King T’Challa; the other appears to be the war for Vibranium. We have witnessed a massive wave submerging the throne of Wakanda, and the only other character who is capable of accomplishing such a task is Namor. On-screen, Namor will control the nation of Talocan, which is already going through hardship as a result of T’Challa’s decision to open Wakanda to the rest of the world. “That decision puts Talocan in peril,” explains Huerta. The teaser reveals that Wakanda, along with Queen Ramonda, Shuri, and Nakia, is mourning the loss of its king and preparing to face the unknown threats that loom over the nation. Also included in this group is T’Challa, who has been dubbed “The Black Panther.”

Along with Huerta, the movie will see the return of Letitia Wright as Shuri, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoya, Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda, Winston Duke as M’baku, and will introduce Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Iron Heart.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premieres on November 11. Meanwhile, you can check out the synopsis and new image below.

Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.
